State Level
Chief Minister's Public Grievance Redressal System
All major offices in the State, including Government Offices, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Autonomous Bodies, Semi-Government Institutions, Universities, Commissions, and Boards, are part of this grievance redressal system known as the CMO Portal.
Along with speed and efficiency, transparency is highly crucial for the civil service. To ensure this, the complainant can check the status of their grievance via SMS and through the toll-free number 1076. Additionally, information regarding the complaint will also be accessible through online systems. A period of 2 weeks is the permitted time frame to resolve the complaints received by the Chief Minister. If more time is required, a reply must be sent to the complainant stating the specific reason. Department Secretaries and Head of Departments have been directed to ensure that every official reviews the complaints while strictly adhering to the time limit. Charge Officers have also been appointed to ensure that timely decisions are taken on the complaints received at each office.
